I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel nestled in the Appenzeller mountains. The location was absolutely perfect, right next to the cable car valley station and offering magnificent views of the mountain itself. The rooms were modern, fresh, and surprisingly spacious, with big windows that provided an impressive view of the surroundings. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast, featuring delicious local produce like cheeses and apple juice, was a great way to start the day.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

Clean and cozy bathrooms and excellent service. the amazing breakfast selection provided many options, including fresh fruit, baked goods, and eggs. the Wellness Spa is fantastic, while the cable car ticket to the peak of the mountain makes for an unforgettable experience.

The hotel could benefit from offering air conditioning, especially during the summer months.

The room lacked a coffee and tea-making option which was inconvenient during the snowstorm outside. the Wi-Fi connection was patchy in the top floor rooms.

Amazing location with stunning views of the mountains and beautiful architecture that made me feel like I was in a James Bond movie. the Wellness Spa was a much-needed retreat after exploring the city. the breakfast was delicious and had a great selection of Swiss cheese, coffee, and local specialties.

The lack of air conditioning was a challenge during the heatwave we experienced during our city trip. the only option to cool down was to open the windows, but the noise from the cowbells in the nearby fields was overwhelming and kept us up late into the night.
